What this site measures

The site counts visits with Google Analytics, and only if you say yes. Until you press Allow, nothing is sent to Google and nothing is stored. A browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal counts as a no, and is not asked.

What is sent, if you allow it

• The address of the page you are on and its title, without anything after a question mark or a hash, and the address of the page you came from with the same trimming.
• What you did on the replay, by name: it was played, which view you chose (broadcast, free, overhead, a player's eyes or TV), how many results a search found, and that a post was read to its end.
• What Google itself takes from any request: your IP address and browser details, from which it works out roughly where you are and what kind of browser you use.

What is stored

One cookie from Google (its name starts with _ga) that tells one browser from another, kept for about six months, and your answer to the question, kept in this browser only. Nothing is sent to Google about the answer.

What is never measured

What you type in the search box, any name you enter, and the live stream, which is never counted here.

Your choice

Measuring is off until you allow it.

Stop measuring and delete the cookies

Google's tag also contacts its own servers (google-analytics.com and googletagmanager.com) once you allow it; that is the only other place a request goes.
